Community Hubs for Coronavirus Support

Churches in Folkestone, Hythe, Cheriton and Hawkinge are working with local Community Hubs,  providing assistance to vulnerable people.

The Folkestone Rainbow Centre supports people through times of crisis.


Rainbow works in partnership with Churches Together in Folkestone, who are committed to showing Christian care and compassion in the town.


Rainbow’s projects include: Homeless Support Service; Rainbow Club; FoodStop; Contact Centre; Op Shop.

The Folkestone Churches Winter Shelter project was established in 2009 by Churches Together Folkestone, having witnessed the hardships facing homeless people in the locality.


Since then, the Folkestone Rainbow Centre, has overseen the operation of the Winter Shelter project.
